Menza Lucat bike has been launched by a Gujarat-based start-up Menza. This is the first product of the company. Like any other company, Menza has also put a lot of effort in its pilot project because this one project will determine the company’s future. The bike was recently launched at Auto Expo 2018. It comes with a competitive price of 2.79 lakh.
The bike joined the league on a sports bike. It has already been mentioned that it is an electric bike so the engine has been replaced by an electric motor. The bike gives a very strong look owing to its naked body. It is fitted with a brushless DC motor linked to a 72 V lithium –ion battery that generates 18Kw and 60 Nm of torque. The electric motor of the bike is good enough to generate a maximum power output of 24 hp. The motor of the bike uses a 150A controller which caps the top speed at 121 km/h. Due to safety reasons, it offers RPM of 3000 only.
The battery of the bike takes 4 hours to charge normally but the fast charging feature charges the battery fully in 90 minutes. You can charge the battery using a regular household connector. It is equipped with 17-inch spoke wheels.
Menza Lucart offers a distance band of 100 km in the city while on the highway, it can go up to 150 km. In the initial stage, Menza will deliver 100 units of the bike across India. Bookings for the bike have started from 14th February 2018 and will be open till 28th February, 2018. The company is selling the bikes solely through an e-commerce platform. It has partnered exclusively with Paytm Mall and the customers can directly their bike app through the mobile app.
The company is providing customizing facility as well. Though the bike comes with a single-seat configuration, you can opt for double-seat configuration by visiting the website of the company and customizing the bike. You can opt for the carbon fiber bodywork as well or you can also choose from various color options for the bodywork of the bike. Overall, everything is customizable on the bike except for the frame and chassis components.
